Hello!
I am here to lead the March discussion on "Zorro" by Isabel Allende. This book had a little bit of everything - love, hate, justice, evil-doers, dashing men, swooning women, California, New Orleans, Spain, the high seas, clergy, gypsies, pirates, and sword play. Did you like it? Did you find the narrator annoying?
I hope to hear from you soon.

Hi there,
I've just started reading this book. So far, I find that Allende is a good storyteller, but I'm not really getting drawn in to the story and I think that perhaps it relates to the narrator's voice, which makes the characters seem really distant. Aloof. I just started the second part, where it goes beyond Diego's childhood, so maybe that will be more appealing.
